Lottery officials: Three public school employees won Mega Millions jackpot in Md.
Tue Apr 10, 2012
Were we really all that tricked, though? As soon as the other woman said she "lost" her ticket, we all knew she was lying. I mean if you had a lottery ticket worth that much, would you lose it? Let alone if it was worth millions, but worth hundreds? I certainly know I wouldn't lose it!
Instagram CEO could get $400 million in Facebook deal
Mon Apr 9, 2012
Why would there be outrage for the CEO of Apple making that much? He oversaw a company that had record stock prices and delivered products that everyone in the world loves. We mind those CEOs who make millions of dollars while bankrupting a company (or leading a company that needed a bailout).
Yes, Jeremy Lin is big in China -- but China is also very big

I think you're grossly discounting the main point of this article, in that he is bringing together Asian-Americans who typically feel ostracized from "normal" Americans. He's not just an athlete - he's a "ground-breaker" for many. And that's pretty significant.

I'm waiting for the inevitable "global warming/climate change" posts, so I'll start with this: ["Global Warming" Skeptic] - How can the earth be warming with all this snow????!?!? ["Climate Change" Advocate] - All this crazy weather is further proof of climate change!!!!

I'm confused ... was he arrested? Or detained?
A $400 million twist: Huguette Clark signed two wills, one to her family
Mon Nov 28, 2011
With all these twists, whatever Hollywood producer was ready to make a movie about this will need to go back and plan for a trilogy.
The 1 percent of the 1 percent: How Huguette Clark's millions were spent
Sat Nov 19, 2011
Such an interesting and sad story. You'd like to hope that these men truly did have her best interests in mind, but it's an awfully hard sell. I do feel bad for the late Ms. Clark, who apparently only wanted her privacy. Now, in death, her story will be told.
